To Place HVAC Grille

Select a Grille option from the Grilles gallery.

Select a duct run where the Grille will be placed.

Note: The duct is specific to the type of Grille you are placing (Rectangular access door is placed on rectangular duct etc.)

The Place Component dialog will display.

Select a Placement Point option from the Settings tab.

Note: If placing one of the End Grille options, only the Main Port option is available.

Expand the HVAC Port Settings tab and define the options available for the port end preparations.

Click the Design Conditions to define the size parameters for the component. (Width, Height, etc.) By default, these values are determined by the duct size selected.

Note: You may use the other property fields in the Placement dialog to define more specific values for the component as needed.

Pick a point along the length of the duct to place the Grille and left click to accept.

Optional: If placing one of the End Grille options, click on the open end of the duct.

Use the mouse to determine the rotation for the Grille and left click to accept.

Note: If placing one of the End Grille options, you are not prompted to select a rotation.

Right-click to end the placement procedure.
